Indicator Bundle

  1. Download the Indicator Bundle to an easy location (downloads folder): DOWNLOAD LINK.
  2. Open NinjaTrader (NT8).
  3. Go to “tools” –> “import” –> “NinjaScript Add-On” –> Select the ZIP-file (DON’T unzip, otherwise it won’t work). Attention: it can take a while for the screen to load and you’ll have the ability to select the ZIP-file. Please be patient.
  4. If an error message pops up because some indicators already exist, you may just confirm the overwrite. Same thing if any other questions pop up: just confirm.
  5. Then you’ll see this success message:
  6. Afterwards you may delete the ZIP-file. You don’t need this anymore.
  7. Go to the next step.

External indicators

For the sake of completeness, I will also share some instructions in regards to the three external indicators. These are available for free and are not part of the GO360 Indicator Bundle you just purchased:

  1. Bar Timer
  2. NTSvePivots
  3. Ninjacators Supply and Demand

Did you already have Patrick’s free template? Then you will have already installed these 3 indicators and can proceed to step 3. Just getting started? Then do not skip this step.

The “BarTimer” indicator is built into NT8 by default. So you don’t need to do anything to install it. It is part of the templates we make available to you.

If all goes well, you should be able to download and install the pivots indicator via the link below. You do this in the same way you installed the GO360 Indicator Bundle (i.e., via “tools”): DOWNLOAD LINK (external).

Finally, the supply and demand indicator.

  1. Close NinjaTrader.
  2. Download the indicator: DOWNLOAD LINK.
  3. You do need to unpack this one
  4. You do not install this indicator like the others. In this case, you simply need to double-click the file (after you have unpacked it via right click –> Unzip/unpack).
  5. You may see this message appear:
  6. You can simply ignore this and click on “install anyway”.
  7. Then follow the steps that appear on the screen:

Once the installation is complete, you may proceed to the next step.

Workspace installation

This step is necessary if you are just starting out and have not yet set up your NT8. Is this already the case? Then it’s sufficient to install your new indicators and configure them as desired.

To install Patrick’s workspace, proceed as follows:

  1. Close NinjaTrader.
  2. Download the zip file: DOWNLOAD LINK.
  3. Open the zip file.
  4. Copy the “DividendCake Workspace Template” file. You don’t need to unzip.
  5. Go to “Documents”, then “NinjaTrader 8”, then “Workspaces”.
  6. Delete the “untitled” workspace.
  7. Paste the workspace template here.
  8. Proceed to the next step.

Chart template installation

To install Patrick’s chart template, follow these steps:

  1. Close NinjaTrader.
  2. Download the zip file: DOWNLOAD LINK.
  3. Open the zip file (no need to unzip it).
  4. Copy the template named “default”.
  5. Go to “documents”, then “NinjaTrader 8”, then “templates”, then “chart”.
  6. Paste the DividendCake chart template here.
  7. Proceed to the next step.

ChartSeries template installation

To install Patrick’s ChartSeries template, follow these steps:

  1. Close NinjaTrader.
  2. Download the zip file: DOWNLOAD LINK.
  3. Open the zip file.
  4. Copy the template named “Minute”. You don’t need to unzip.
  5. Go to “documents”, then “NinjaTrader 8”, then “templates”, then “ChartSeries”.
  6. Paste the DividendCake ChartSeries template here.

Then restart NinjaTrader. If you’re not yet connected to a data provider (your prop firm connection, or via Playback), it’s possible you don’t see anything yet. It might looks like this, a white screen without a chart:

Connect to a data provider or via Playback, then you’ll see everything will load and look the same as on Patrick’s screen. Something like this:

Tip: drag the window so that it fits on your full screen and floats nicely above your Control Center, as you can see above.
